Ed Polcer (b. February 10, 1937, Paterson, New Jersey) is an American jazz cornetist, active principally on the Dixieland jazz scene.
Polcer attended Princeton University, where he graduated in 1958. Following this he played in New York City on a part-time basis. He was part of the 1960s Jazz revival in New Jersey performing with Jazz drummer Chuck Slate and his band which also included bassist and author Warren Vache Sr. He joined the ensemble led by Red Balaban in 1969, and became its co-leader in 1975. He also played with Benny Goodman (1972), Jane Harvey, and Cathy Chamberlain. He also led the house band at Eddie Condon's club.
